‘Art InSide Business, (repost articles)’

Hello friends,

On this article reposting some of my articles about the collaboration of Art & Business’

‘Art InSide Business’, a Checkmate Collaboration. Part 1

More and more, all talking the last years about the need for innovation in business and in companies general. They are right, but did they succeed it eventually? As an artist where I have dealt fairly with the marketing, with the overall organization and promotion of my work and my shows, finding sponsors and my cooperation with companies, understand that especially where I live in, Greece, few understand the concept of innovation, very few work on it and less fare taking risks.

When we talk about innovation, the first in my view on human society are the artists. They are creative, which is the basic process for innovation, searching, progress, <arrive> in the limbs, overwhelm themselves, take risks, record our society and mainly in Greece I would say, are managers of themselves and their work. Large companies are recognizing the need for increased creativity and their progress, in line with the wish of our era hire artists, collaborating with artists and generally turn to the exponents of creative industry. For example, Apple, Coca Cola, etc.

I think that companies, if not enhance, develop their potential, if labor does not educate executives and their employees, with tools that provide them with the most typical way, as an example of where are the arts, and also recognize that the public targeted will vary as to its components. For example, Greeks from the Americans, the Chinese by Europeans and so on, will continue to reproduce innovative ideas where applied successfully in other countries, but when you reproduce something, is just a copy and is not innovation!

We should deepen the business and companies operation, invading new elements, enriching and opening their horizons. Companies, organizations need to overcome the same common loop, tactics and their operation.

Below you will find some very interesting links about the prospects of this collaboration.

‘Art, Business & Creativity’

Dear Friends,
In continuation of my previous post, where admittedly there was a respectable time of publication, focusing throughout this period to create my new works-projects for the coming presentations of my exhibition – installation ‘The Land of D€MOCRA$¥’* in different countries and cities, I decided to activate and to continue my previous post about the value of cooperation between arts and business.

All this needs as I already placed, the consistency and the support of both sectors for the success of this coexistence. The beginning should be done by businesses-organizations which should support through sponsorships and other procedures the arts highlighting the impact but also the same, getting-receiving (businesses) a more positive picture for their image. At the same time it is returned as a return from the arts in kind, such as creations, projects, services etc.

Some companies such as ‘American Express’ and via the ‘American Express Card Culture’ in England since 2000 which is administered by the ‘Arts & Business’ program, support Business & Arts and in return workers can buy works at lower prices. Creativity and innovation through program’s cooperation should focus on employees and how to approach things through artistic techniques and skills.

In the Strategy and Management and how to create this environment based on the values and vision of organizations, their products and services also the process through innovative actions and interventions to redesign artistically of their products and services. The <picture> of this cooperation and communication and how companies will help to <contact> with their employees.

The basis and union of cooperation of Arts and Business with various systems and concepts, through Social Economy knowledge and experiences.

Arts provide the enterprise a wide range of tools and support, such as inventiveness/creativity through artistic process and projects that contribute to innovation as the goal of any business.

Also develop new approaches and conduct at work, pose challenges and solve problems. Increase the cooperation of workers with capabilities beyond classical to entrepreneurship, such as accessibility, creative communication and attract new customers for their businesses.

Offer new forms of expression of corporate identity through their involvement with social issues. Introduce and train workers in new environments, where they build their skills and their activities.

Arts invade and elements such as culture content, alternative interpretation and recognition of everyday life, they simplify and give opportunities to <read> things and how the employees can change the content and the recognition of the value of the human species.

In my opinion, the most important starting point for businesses, if companies truly want to achieve and practice innovation and evolution, is to enrich their organization giving themselves opportunities.

Having experience and knowledge through the cooperation with different companies and organizations, I distinguish their hesitancy to step on the next level, continuing to reproduce common tactics and methods, but this does not make them neither to increase creativity, neither the pursuit of innovation and should become more courageous.

”Each innovative idea is a work of art, let’s use this resource of expression,(Art) as a tool for the emergence of innovation through the creative tools that provides us with”

Exactly as you wrote Mr. Petrakis, a checkmate collaboration, two different things , two very important things. I’m expecting strong results and creative view. Our world and market needs those kind of collaboration, beyond the typical steps.

Firms should be more courageous to increase creativity, taking risks and not afraid the failure, which is rhe fundamental thing for creativity. Let’s try all to be more like artists, in our job, in our life.
